Superbloom
Welcome to the Superbloom (Music & Picture Show) for my song SERMONS on SUPERBLOOMS and Chapter 7 of my Pretty Dopamine Bullets visual album. Thank you for being here..
More hifi music + lofi pictures from the high desert. SERMONS on SUPERBLOOMS is a stripped down rock song about flowers, blizzards, rainbows, thunderbirds, contradictions and being on the run. Music has created so much meaning and purpose in my life. I’m not sure how I found it but, I’m glad I did. Thank you for being here and for listening.
one day we’ll live forever…some day we will be together.
It’s the heart of winter in Bozeman when time slows and super blooms feel far over the horizon. I wrote SERMONS on SUPERBLOOMS last January as a way to travel without moving. The recordingwas co-produced with Jake Fleming in Bozeman in 2024, drums were recorded in Philadelphia with Charlie Hall from The War on Drugs (my favorite band) in August and the “symphony of guitars” (not my words) were recorded at my home studio throughout the Fall. No synths, pads, keys or digital trickery on this one. Just good old fashioned rock ‘n’ roll drums, bass and a lot of guitars.
