In my head, this one started as a mashup of Nirvana and Leonard Cohen. An odd couple, I know. We spent nine months producing and recording this three and a half minute track. As hard as I try, I can’t seem to speed up the process. I keep reminding myself that this experience is a marathon not a sprint. The journey took us from Bozeman to Boston to Nashville to NYC and from the original song concept to something closer to gospel-inspired alternative rock. It features a sound/feeling I’ve always wanted to include in one of my recordings…a full church choir recorded in Nashville over the Summer. (Audio: Choir stem from Angel)
